lol jokeing but yes this is my feelings of watchmen...and I felt it was very good very long I have zero complaints.... at all

nothign to say its just incredible and far supriror to a lot of other comic book movies including Dark Knight which is saying a lot. Now I wont say much other than its like 3 hours long and kind of confuseing if your not into fantasy. If not you should try to pay attention as much as possible or before hand read a short non spoiler summery of the film/graphic novel.

now apart from how good the movie is I find some odd controversey.
you see it started a while back in the paper. I noticed someone people including Michael Phillips from the tribune have given Watchmen very bad reviews. Now the review was complaining about violence and rape and blood and gore and macabre. now I being a man that gives almost everyone and everything a fair handshake decided to go see it anyway. and let me tell you...

THEY WERE WRONG!

are you fucking kidding me!? lol It wasent nearly as bloody as The Punisher Films, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday The 13th, or Halloween. Also the thing that was the "Rape" scene wasent even a rape scene. It was a failed attempt at rape. and even at that, The Hills have eyes, Halloween Unrated and directors cut, and Evil Dead had 100x more graphic rape scenes. And to put the shitberry on the bullshit ice cream the blood and the gore wasent nearly as graphic as it was in The Punisher Warzone or Texas Chainsaw Massacre films.

Now I was wondering why this film got such bad reviews when it look so good now I didnt see it yet but my bet was that it was going to be fantastic and not like what the review said and that the bad review was set up there by a competitor of DC comics in order take away some bang from the upcomeing movie since a movie for the competitor is in the works. Now how do you like this...so im watching the previews and quess what comes up... "X-Men Orgins: Wolverine". Well lets see here a comic book movie, made by Marvel a COMPETITOR of DC, and its comeing out AFTER watchmen. and the review in the tribune was false about its blood and shit. but what a conincidence I had guessed this a while back before even knowing of a Wolverine movie in the works, I just find out today in the previews that one is going to happen after watchmen.

I smell foul play... :) :P >:)

Marvel must have paid Michael Phillips and other reviewers to give Watchmen a Bad rateing so it would take away some excitement from the film. Because without cheating there is no way Watchmen is going to be beaten by an X-Men film. So in hopes to take away desire from people to see it Marvel must have paid these people off...

Crack pot conspiracy theory of mine? or Real Foul Play? You decide

I totally agree with everything you said above :XD: I had heard bad reviews for the movie before it came out, and a lot of my friends said they weren't going to go see it because of them. I thought it lived up very well to the comic, and frankly I'm amazed they fit that much story and detail into just under three hours.

I can think of several other movies with a lot more rape, violence and gore in them. I almost fell asleep watching the newest Friday the 13th, if it hadn't been for all of the sudden loud noises, I would've konked out right there. Just the same old gore and sex and stabbing action :/

I wouldn't be surprised if they did have a hand in it. I don't think I'll be seeing that Wolverine movie, anyway. PG13? :XD: I think other than the new Star Trek movie coming out, I'll just abandon the movie theater for awhile :XD:

Mark Hamill joker was awesome :XD: I'm not saying Heath sucked, but he's definitley not THE best Joker, as so many people seem to think :/ I think they made Heath Joker waaaay to evil, with not enough funny to balance him out.
